Day 5 was another good day. I stayed on track despite urges at several points during the day.
At work, I had a pretty intense desire for potato chips (of all things!). I called my sister and she talked me down. Later, I went to the grocery store with my husband. All the food looked and smelled so good, but I managed to avoid things. The smells of things are what gets to me. Prepared fried chicken, bread from the bakery, the smell of fresh fruit ... all very tempting!
My deficit was amazing again, a whopping 1,629!
