Today, this blog becomes a challenge blog! Welcome Diana! We are going to challenge our way to 100 pounds lost! I am so excited!

  1. It's a day of firsts for me! This is the first time I've posted to a blog and most importantly, the first full day wearing my BodyMedia arm band!

    I put it on last night and wore it through my evening and while sleeping. How cool! It tells me I slept 7 hours and 4 minutes.

    I set my goals and started logging my food. My standard wake-up food is a cup of tea with 1 tablespoon sugar and 1/2 cup of whole milk.

    My step goal is 8000. That seems like a lot. We'll see if I get there. I may have to take a walk later ...

    I inmagine I'll be posting lost of questions so get ready for some silly inquires!

  2. I am ready for ya. I can't wait to see how you did on your first day. BTW, I gave you Author rights on this site so you should be able to post as a main post rather than a comment on my post. I will be coming here several times a day and hope to get some fun stuff going.

    For today, I am pooped. I only got in about 6k steps today but only 4 hours sleep last night so I am resting. Tomorrow I start weights. That should be fun. I also need to do some abdomen work!

  3. I'd post as an author, but I can't figure out how!

    Yesterday was my first full day and I'd have to call it a success in many ways. Even though I fell short of my goals exercise-wise, I was really close. My goal was 8,000 steps, I got 6,800. My goal for moderate activity was 45 minutes, I achieved 40. I was motivated and logged all my food right away. As it turns out, I weigh 2 pounds less than yesterday!!!!

    There are definately changes I can make with my food choices. I had too much fat -- 75 grams! I guess that Mexican Lasagna (for dinner) and string cheese (as a snack) aren't the best choices!

    My sleep sucked last night. I only got 5 hours and 17 minutes. I was restless all night, and got up 4 times. I'm exhausted today.

    I'm rather worried about today. I don't want to work. I'm tired. Trick or Treat is tonight. There will be pizza for dinner and I'll be surrounded by candy. Wish me luck!

  4. Good Luck today! I know how you feel. I ate a big plate of Nachos with the fam last night. Ate great all day and did the big splurge at night... not good. It will get better. Every day is a challenge and some days we don't do the best that we can. Dieting is messy work.

    Have the best day that you can today. I survived in the office sitting right beside you know who!
